Three municipalities are connected by this jewel of nature - the Föhren forest in the landslide area!
It is possible to start the breathtaking tour through the mountain slide area from various starting points. You can start the hike in Sautens, Haiming or Roppen. Walk for approximately 4 hours along the forest trails and discover the untouched nature of the Föhren forest.
About 3000 years ago, this forest became a landslide area. Immense rocks and boulders broke free from the south side of the Tschirgant. The break-off point is still visible on the „white wall“. You can read more about these impressive events on an information board in Haiming.
