On a mellow summer day or a beautiful spring day, it is nice to take a long walk through the romantic and attractive landscape of the middle Ötz valley region. Umhausen and the surrounding villages offer many footpaths and trails, but one of them is particularly worth mentioning.
The Steppsteig nature trail! Above Umhausen it leads along the side of the valley and offers a number of breathtaking views. Several benches along the way invite you to take a break. Walking along the Steppsteig trail is exactly the thing to help you switch off from the stress of everyday life!
